Philippe Ribière started climbing in 1995 and he likes to play on routes as well as on boulders: 6c at Seynes (Tube Neural), at St Beauzille de Montmel (Danifil), and at Pont St-Nicolas in the Gard, France (Sodome and Go More), 6c on boulder at la Capelle, etc. However, his medical record shows that he suffers from the Rubinstein syndrome...
«It\'s a polyhandicap; more specifically, my limbs are shorter and my wrists are very stiff: I can\'t crimp on small holds or use the underclings, therefore causing me problems on mandatory moves on certain routes and boulders.»
Through his climbing and beyond the performance, his goal is to bring as many handicapped people to the sport. This is his conviction: «You can achieve anything you want from the moment you start believing in yourself». His work consists of raising the handicapped people\'s awareness to the practice of climbing and to try to focus some media coverage on his actions.
Thanks to his motivation and his work with the French Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (FFME), he organized the first \"handi-grimpe\" demonstration at the French Championships in 2001, followed by a second one at the European Championships last year. He finally made another demonstration at the World Championships in Chamonix this summer; a well deserved reward after so many hours of work.

Simultaneously, he created the \"Handi-grimpe\" association to organize his own events: he gathers handicapped and non-handicapped climbers, as well as handicapped individuals, whether they are sport enthusiasts or not. The first \"Handi-grimpe\" edition took place last April, and the second edition is planned for April 25, 2004.
In a way, Philippe has become an ambassador for the handicapped individuals who are not practicing any sports, and he is now the handicapped climber\'s representative for the official institutions. Besides that, his latest project is now to create a new \"handicap\" category on the official competitive climbing circuit. He also wants to be climbing more, and more, always.

第一次和Yuji见面是在马来西亚举行的亚洲攀岩锦赛上，并且作为崇拜者在嘈杂的人群中同他合影，并介绍自己来自中国的Lei。一年之后在世界杯攀岩赛比赛期间，突然听到一个很生硬的声音“Lei，你好！”（是Yuji？）。我真的不敢相信，没想到他居然记得我，并对我讲中文，仿佛是很久没见的朋友一样。他知道我国攀岩运动的起步较晚、水平相对较低。并建议我们要开放思想，多与他人交流切磋（不分国界的）；多爬不同的岩壁、不同的线路；多参加比赛来积累经验，这样才能尽快的实现全面发展和真正的成功\。

Rock master 是目前最高水平的攀岩赛事。每年都要举办几站，只有在通过世界杯攀岩赛排名获得一定资格的攀岩选手才能参加，攀岩选手每站获得的积分记入当前的世界排名。
抽空给大家节选了一段儿世界上第一次（94年）在意大利举办的Rock master比赛片段，希望大家能够喜欢。

Aaron Shamy来自美国岩湖城的男孩可以说是少有的攀岩天才。攀岩3个月就在American Fork爬上了第一条5.12 的线路Margarita。9个月后就完成了自己的第一条5.13a的线路。3年之内他分别在Rifle岩场完成了Yellow Card(5.14a 三次尝试就完攀)、Spray-a-Thon(5.13c 两次尝试完攀)。American Fork岩场完成了Power Junkie(5.13d)、Body Count(5.13d)、Soul Fusion(5.13c)等五十多条5.13s的路线。并在99年美国Phoenix抱石赛中获得第三名。第一次参加国际比赛就在X-Game中获得难度赛第九名，速度赛第二名的好成绩。
其实他的许多力量是在从身体素质训练中得到的。他拉单杠的记录是一连112下，单手可以拉7下。有人见他先爬上一条Inferno(5.13b)，然后穿了双拖鞋爬上5.13a，然后再领攀一条16米的5.12d/13a的路线只花了61秒。其实Aaron这个即将把更高的难度系数记录在他的清单中的年青人与其它年青人也没有什么\不同。他从未错过与人分享快乐和他过人的能量的机会，不论你是Redpoint5.9或On-sight5.14，他总是第一个上前去祝贺别人的成就。

Chris Sharma參加了第14,15,17,18,19,20,21屆PBC天然抱石賽(因故未參加第16屆), 參加了七屆, 得到七次第一名, 這種成績除了空前我想也絕後了吧, PBC也是報名即可參加的比賽, 雖然是比賽, 但是因為它的傳統與自然, 吸引了每一代的攀岩者, 這種比賽好像是大家庭共聚一堂的感覺, 感覺真的很好, 也可以注意到一些所謂的極限運動員, 在這種比賽中都表現平平, 或只參加一屆就不來了, 箇中原因, 我想留給大家體會吧, 相對的Chris Sharma在PBC的餘興節目: DYNO大賽中, 幾乎都沒進前十名過, 這真是強烈的風格區別

中國有一個很厲害的(可以說最厲害的喲)選手叫劉常忠(2002深圳國際攀岩邀請賽時他和以德幾乎在同一點掉落)
他2003爬影片中某某錦標賽的路線也是翻出天花板不遠就墜落了(如果沒記錯啦)
2003年深圳站正式列入UIAA賽事積分
賽事結束之後中國方面就邀了參賽的國外選手
來爬影片中某某錦標賽路線當作觀摩
結果會怎樣呢??

有些地方他爬的還蠻暴力的咩

這段影片我覺得蠻有意思的,對我心靈上有很大的震撼.
第一次看這段影片,看得我手指抽痛,氣喘心悸.
在y17有一條黃貼紙路線,在最後4米我一直沒辦法不分段不take爬完,那天再一次看這段影片,心有所感,腦子裡不斷閃過dave的招式動作節奏紛至沓來,看完馬上再爬這條,竟然就一口氣沒take爬完了,連我自己都嚇到.
不過這種藥效好像有時限,休息過,過一個多小時再爬,過幾天再來爬,還是沒辦法一次爬上.....
我沒有很多時間介紹他們是誰
因為他們都是跟Sharma一樣有許\多\"業績\"
